“Islands of Knowledge”

“No man is an island, entire of itself; every human is a piece of the continent, a part of the whole.” — John Donne

Even the most disorganized person, who still possesses their mental faculties in at least a somewhat stable way where madness has not yet entered, knows how to interpret and think for themselves. They have a method of seeking, something to hold on to, a line of reasoning, a goal. Of course, in some minds, the system might be a little rusty, perhaps even buried seven feet deep, submerged among “other more important things,” but everyone one day will have to give an account of the quest that drives us all to breathe.

But only those who have the intelligence and insight to know which direction to follow in this great puzzle unique to all humanity — and so different for each of us — understand how much we must collaborate and serve so that others, better and more capable, may continue the fight and help those who come beyond the bend of the river.

For in the pursuit of META-knowledge, educating is more important than merely discovering universes. It is wholesome to carry and bring along the greatest number of people to the pinnacle of wisdom, for only then will we have the strength to lift up the most capable, generating dreams of knowing.

We must not hide knowledge; it must be shared, divided, sifted, distributed, fragmented, and thus multiplied for all, generating the miracle of multiplication so well demonstrated by the great Master through the loaves and fishes.

This task is not easy, and the expenditure of energy is immense. The fusion of minds, the dystopian and furious thought of this constant quest for knowledge, when it falls upon our shoulders, must be borne and shared with all our brothers.

Of course, dividing to conquer is only one of the strategies to gain a vision of the whole. May our quest for completeness, for the theory of everything, to understand and comprehend the Universe increase every day, and may WISDOM love us and uniquely show us a true and different path for each humanity contained within us — at once unique and equal for all who are not islands.
